With its innovative design the skid plate sits snug to the vehicle, avoiding hang-ups your factory plate can't and allowing an additional 2" of clearance. The pronounced lip traverses rocks and dirt with ease. A powder coat helps ward off the elements as well as it gives the vehicle a killer look.

I really like this skid plate but RC stop making the bracket needed for the rubicon.I tried finding one with no luck so I sent the skid plate back. if you don't have therubicon model, this is a nice skid plate. I never installed it so can't comment on thataspect.

Worked well but paint is cheap and was chipping off in a few places. Used for 318 swap with AX15 on a TJ. Had to drill additional holes for the transmission mount to attach to. Wish it included hardware this doesn’t work with OEM crossmember boltsOverall happy with it for the price

Installed on a 2004 TJ Rubicon. Everything included hoes in/out in under an hour. Plan ahead for a couple items. I recommend having a replacement transmission mount to replace, in a TJ it’ll probably be end of life. If you did not purchase or already have the motor mount lifts and body lift installed, do not attempt to install. You will also need the compressor mount for the Rubicon lockers. This skid pan drives the exhaust up to the floorboard due to pitch change to the entire drive assembly.TJ parts are: 1156 & 1157 & 1123 (if rubicon)

It bolted right up on my 05 Jeep Rubicon LJ just make sure your jeep matches the compatibility listing. Yes there are a couple different bolt patterns but everything worked I had installed in a couple hours max and free shipping works for me other than it only utilizes two of the three frame bolts attachment points so the coverage is less on the rear of the Jeep leaving a couple inches of transfer case exposed it works

If you have a manual you need the kit with the mount set back plate with 8 holes. SKU 1120.

Good idea horrible execution. The trans mounting bracket was not centered so this will not mount up. The powder coat is very thin and cheap. For an additional $50 you can get a Rokmen its made in the USA by a person... who knows how to use a measuring tape. Seriously save your time and money.

Had a shop installing a SYE on my jeep and purchased this to replace my old skid. I have a rough country long arm and it won't bolt up. Not sure why but it's a no go.

for the price its a great deal, 1/4 inch steel is 1/4 inch steel so it doesn't really matter if its RC or Saavy or whatever, you will need to do several things before the tummy tuck so consider that the double cardan driveshaft, SYE, upper adjustable control arms and all that stuff is going to be needed as well as working in the exahust since all the transfer is going to be lifted into the jeep.. but after doing everything I gained 2.5 inches of clearance from the floor to the lowest hanging part of the skid.. (consider painting some parts once installed since the coating is not from the best quality, not a big issue IMO
