My son is a little old for the superhero wallet he's had for years. This was perfect for the next step up. He can even have change and keep a house key in it.

I've been a fan of Rough Enough since trying one of their sling bags and have been looking for a slimmer wallet. This may be marketed towards younger folks but might be a decent option for minimalist adult needs.I imagine this form factor is noted as "Boys" since it has a shorter lanyard, and presumably youngins won't be carrying many cards. Admittedly, I probably would be better off with one of the brand's slightly beefier wallets with an id card window. If you want a payment centric wallet and intend to keep auxiliary cards and IDs separate, maybe two of these clipped together would be a good option. I've found I can stack my ID, library card, and 1-2 cards in the bottom card slot, then insurance info cards in the upper slot. I rarely have cash on hand so my payment cards hang in the middle of the largest section. The small outer zip pocket can accommodate a couple of bucks worth of quarters.The fabric feels very durable. Though the hardware is plasticky, it functions well. The stitching is even and neat, slightly layered at the end. Closure feels secure thanks to strong hook and loop tape (if you layer cards there may be a bit exposed that could catch on things, tho). Branding details are well done and sleek. I love being able to clip this to my sling bag for ease of access and security.Overall, this is a decent option for anyone who prefers well made minimalist designs, as long as you don't need many card slots.
