Quality of product is good and sturdy. Easy to operate. Only thing I didn’t like was that the brake handle doesn’t have a lock to keep it from crashing down on someone’s head if they happen to bump into it. Other than that it’s an excellent product just have to be careful when other people are working in the same room as you. Great value for the money.

Closing off two skylights in a cathedral ceiling in our home is dangerous enough, but hanging the drywall can't be done without a lift. Our local stores didn't have any in stock to sell and I know that I'm going to be rehabbing more homes in the future. It took longer than expected, and that delayed the project by about a week, but that was due to UPS (the carrier) having delays and it was not Amazon's fault. It arrived, was easy to assemble, works as listed and is really sturdy. It'll last for many years.

Served its purpose. One of the extention arms would not secure in due to the bracket how it was welded in was crooked and could not get locked into place. I was in a small bathroom redoing all the drywall so I didnt need those arms at that time. May be an issue on later installs around the house when I get to that point on the remodel.

This is easy to use and break down with no tools. Super helpful. It holds sheets in place exactly where you want them. It cranks up and down seamlessly and quickly. Light weight, but incredibly strong and stable.

Hung 2 sheets and one of the sections failed due to poor quality/failure to catch missing bushing and pin at factory? Pulley fell out of the bottom when attempting to see what the issue was.

I'm a DIYer and not a drywall professional so my review reflects my personal needs. For me, this lift seems like a great tool, whereas a drywall professional who uses this day-in and day-out might want something a bit heavier duty. While I will eventually use this for its intended purpose - hanging drywall, I'm currently building a room onto my house and actually purchased this to help me hoist some 20 foot long 2x12 pressure-treated ceiling joists to the top of reinforced concrete block columns that are 10 feet high. Renting a material lift from my local "big orange" box store tool rental department would have cost me $86 per day and I'd need use of it for at least 3 or 4 days to hoist the joists. For half of that cost, I own it and can use it for hoisting the joists and then hoisting plywood to sheet the roof, and then - finally - for it's intended use to hand the drywall on the ceiling.A recommendation: for safety purposes, if you buy one of these, buy a hard hat too to protect yourself in the off-chance that a sheet of drywall comes crashing down.

Works and is so much easier than trying to hold up panels even with 2 people.
