My girlfriend wanted something other than a plastic bag to hold our tea. This box does just that and looks a lot better than a plastic bag or general plain no design box. If you are crammed for cabinet space and have items stacked on top of the box, make sure you don't put any heavy items on top because the lid is thin compared to the rest of the box.

I was hoping to eliminate some of the many boxes of tea in my cupboard and loved the look of this one. Is made of balsa or particle board however, so while it’s lightweight, it’s also pretty flimsy. The good news is, tea doesn’t weigh that much. Each cubicle holds about 15 teabags (if you put some effort into stacking them) so that is almost enough for a full box. I’d love to see it be just an inch taller so a full box could fit…like what are you supposed to do with those extra 5 teabags? Also, I’d rather the lid be flush in the back with metal hinges instead of being offset with plastic hinges, because the lid keeps flopping shut instead of staying open. All in all, I’m relatively pleased at my initial assessment, but I’m afraid the quality might be an issue. Proceed with caution.

The box is a good size , especially height for tea bag packets to stand easily.Love the design of box.Arrived with a piece broken off the side, likely damaged before sending as it was packaged in a secure box. It’s still functional and can’t be bothered with hassle to send back to overseas.

This is a lovely gift. I bought two of these boxes - one brown and one white. Beautiful detailing and design. However, the construction is a little flimsy. It’s very lightweight, thin wood. When we opened one of our boxes arrived, the wood had broken in transit (see picture), and I can’t seem to message the seller for a refund or replacement.
