My 74 pound Boxer has IVDD and was unable to use his hind legs at all for a bit. This harness was a life saver. It helped him be able to use his front legs more and saved our backs from using a towel to try to hold him up. We ended up buying an extra because sometimes he would pee on them if we didn’t have it on correctly. So just to have an extra was helpful. The Large was a perfect fit. Very happy with this product

Can't rate this product, as it was never used. Concept was correct for what we needed, but was purchaed too large. Returned.

So this lift harness is simple and looks so easy to put on your dog. But a few caviats: 1. If your dog is very weak in the hind legs and squirmy this will be much harder to put on than expected. 2. If your dog is one with a very thick coat of fur this could be difficult to keep in place. 3. If your dog is old and has a curved spine this harness may well regularly fall down towards the tail. 4. The handles, whether you connect them or not will fall onto your dog or underneath when you are not holding them. If your dog has weak hind legs then its butt will generally drop and end up on top of the handles. As for the positives: 1. It is nice looking and feeling material. 2. When you get the product on in the correct location and hold the handles, it works as it is supposed to and will help your dog's rear up.

this works great for getting our paryalized pitball, as she has no control over her hind legs. this is supportive and secure and easy to take on travels. very happy with this purchase

Fit in legs but cover my boys red rocket. He would pee on it and himself. Also the top handle is not long enough unless you stay hunched over when walking dog.

We found this very time consuming to use and difficult to get on large dog

This is very easy to use and very helpful. I would actually say it's a necessary tool if your dog needs it. We used to post op for a few weeks.

I got this for my 72 pound Lab/Husky mix who has arthritis and hip dysplasia. It works very well and it's easy for her to pee and poop through it. The only complaint I have is that when you're walking it tends to slip down a bit around the rear. Other than that it's a great product.

It’s good quality product. However with my dog being 100lb and tall. It is hard on me. I ended up getting a wheelchair. The product itself is a good quality product.

This one works decent. It isn’t as supportive as others in the pelvic area so it’s not my favourite. I’ve ordered so many and finally found out that the all black one that goes further length wise in the waist is better. It can be put on while they are standing and no need to raise the feet for foot holds. I also ordered a $56 one that was terrible and fell off her bum right away. This one was better than that expensive one. Make sure you find one with good pelvic support and not just thin leg straps.

perhaps it works for some large dogs but didn't work well for ours

I got this for my old tri-paw and even though she only has one leg the belly support was so small. That should have been the top. Only two finger width of support. I made one out of and old shirt and a shopping bag. Come on, do better.

Not enough strap length to make it useful when you have a small dog. Maybe more suitable for bigger dogs. Sent it back.
