Planning for a cruise, snorkeling, and scalloping. Kids are great swimmers but want something to support extended body positioning in the water. These are not coastguard approved, if you are looking for that.This fits the neck and body of a child well. I would be a bit concerned about fit with a husky child as the neck is narrow. The straps do adjust quite large.Leg strap from neck should go under the waist belt (unlike video).We did water test and they worked perfectly.

I got this for my son to use when he still wanted to swim but was clearly getting tired.I keep it cinched down so it doesn't ride up into his face and it works amazingly.Just a little bit of extra buoyancy for when he's tired and doesn't get in the way to prevent him from being able to move his arms freely.

My daughter wore this while snorkeling in Honduras. Fit my petite (48†and 70 lbs) 8 year old just fine. It’s easy to inflate with breath. This one requires it to be inflated by breath. It’s worn to provide a snorkeler with a rest break, plain and simple. It’s not a life jacket and does not have a CO2 cartridge or any means to quickly auto inflate. While my daughter did not need it and I did not inflate it because I was snorkeling with her and I didn’t keep her out long enough to get tired, it did give her added peace of mind so she could just float around with me and enjoy seeing the fishes. Just remember that you don’t snorkel with it inflated. If you do, your head will be held up out of the water and that will defeat the purpose of snorkeling.

I bought 4 of these (2 children and 2 adult) for our family to paddle board. We all know how to swim, but we just needed to be compliant when we go on the lake by our house. They work really well and did keep my 10 year old daughter (75 lbs) afloat when she fell off her board, however the children's size did not fit my son. He is 13 years old, 5'6" and 105 lbs. He needed an adult size. But they are super convenient and work well!

Love how easy they are to pack. Very easy to use in the ocean. If we wanted to deflate and free swim underwater, we could, and as soon as we resurfaced and wanted to float, it took seconds to blow it back up.

We loved this vest until it broke after one use. It was so easy to inflate and perfect for our daughter at the beach. Unfortunately when we went to inflate it the second day of our vacation it was deflating slowly.

We bought this for an almost-five-year-old to take along on vacation. She can swim but she's not terrific and I was not letting her in an ocean without some sort of life vest! (Though we obviously planned to be very near her at all times - I suppose this thing could get caught on a branch or scrape on a rock and rip open!) This packed really well, folding down quite small. It was easy to blow up (super fast - one blow!) and was easy to adjust (both the amount of air and the straps). Bonus because she used a life vest from the cruise ship and another on one shore excursion that both rubbed under her arm and really bothered her - this cannot rub too many places because it doesn't touch too many places and all of it is fairly smooth. She loved it, I felt she was safe in the water. The color was awesome because she was super easy to spot, especially when surrounded by tons of other kids on the beach. I had my doubts about bringing this along as it's not TINY when folded but it was worth every penny and its space in the suitcase.

We got this for our 7 year old son for a snorkeling trip to Greece. It worked perfectly and was light and easy to pack . It helped him float safely while snorkeling and gave me some piece of mind. Just be careful like it says in the directions to not get sand into the mouthpiece. I had to rinse it off a few times when my son was careless and tossed it down in the sand. This seems to be a good price for this vest and shipping was fast.
