Used this flotation device at three caribbean islands and it worked great. only needed a couple of puffs of air while swimming in the salt water. Folded up nicely after use to put into carrying bay. Great price and highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I each got one of these before a trip to Hawaii. The directions that came with the jacket were for a different model, but it was easy enough to figure out. It was easy to pack and bring in our beach bag. Also easy enough to even wear into the water and inflate once you need them (or to deflate if you want to go under water). We used them when snorkeling and they held us both up perfectly on top of the water. When flat on the surface of the water snorkeling, the vest was comfortable, however if you are treading water with it on, the neck part kind of rides up. I’m not sure if I would use this if I was doing any extreme sports, but perfect for snorkeling. Totally worth the purchase and we will be bringing it with us to Costa Rica next!

These have held up well so far after several uses in ocean waters. Basic gear but works as expected and colors are bright.

we bought a couple of this inflatable swim vest jackets & took them to the Caribbean Island with us. They are easy to pack and don`t take much space in your luggage. They are easy to put on/off & easy to inflate & deflate. We used them in ocean water several time & they held up pretty well. This is a must have to minimize the potential risks of swimming in natural waters, especially while doing it in a foreign country you don`t speak the language & there aren`t posted water safety signs & labels. I use this when paddling. Its low profile makes it convenient. Haven't needed to use it to save any lives (thank goodness), but I've inflated it and the air bladder does its job.

This is a great, packable life jacket if you're a good swimmer that just needs one because it's a good idea anyway. It was easy for me to use in and out of the water. My wife had a little trouble with it, but she's not the fish I am. I cut the strap that is supposed to - ouch - go between your legs, and it works just fine. I'm 6"1" 220 lbs. for reference.

Used this vest whilst on Holiday in Cocos Keeling Island and Christmas Island, when on tour was taken to area of open ocean near a wreak and places with swells. This vest made me feel more confident in the water and helped if I need to adjust my snorkel while in the water. I can swim but not a strong swimmer, this vest made my holiday worry free. Very easy to inflate and recommend for travelling as it is light and folds into a small bag (provided).

If you want to do more than very occasional snorkeling then spend extra on a more suitable one- the narrow straps did not hold the vest that well when I turned-works well if you cannot swim like me-and that was in a swimming pool

So I bought this last December and never tired it until today. Unfortunately it is an epic failure. I bought two. My husbands works perfectly. Mine does not!! Leaks at the back where the back of the belt is attached. Would have loved to have tried it sooner. But due to safety rating never thought to do that till we got to our new destination. And sue to Amazon’s policy I have zero way that I have found to get help with it. As I said my husbands worked great. Mine did not at all.
