Lots of cars recommend jacking the car from the frame pinch welds. Using a typical floor jack really bends and messes up these weld areas so a stock scissor jack might not work anymore. Solution is to use these on your floor jacks or even hydraulic lifts which is 4 points then just put these at the 4 areas that the lift will use. Really good if you work on more expensive cars as well.

I ordered these to use with my '09 Nissan Sentra, which like most modern vehicles has lifting points along a pinch weld. I have a hydraulic jack that works well with my Silverado AND fits under my Sentra, but the lifting plate would be damaging to use on the pinch weld so I usually use the emergency jack and then place stands. Obviously this isn't terribly safe (those emergency jacks are not really meant to be used unless absolutely necessary!), so I decided to get some of these adapter pucksThis was a 4-pack of pucks, and I'm guessing that's so that one set can be used with lifts as well.In my use, I've only used one, but I've lifted the front end of the car several times, and even left the car supported by the jack (with stands placed for safety, but not under load) for almost two hours, and the wear so far is minimal. My hope is that they'll hold up well over time, but if not, I'll update my review. Please see the attached pictures to see how well my first puck of the set is holding up after the aforementioned use. There's no tears in the rubber yet, just a few dents where the bulk of the load was.

Great collection of 4 jack pads for the unibody crimp area where jack points are located. No more crushing your jack point due to using an hydraulic jack instead of the supplied jack in your car. I see no reason that these could not be used as well with vehicles with frames as well, like trucks, if you like. Basically like a thick hockey puck that prevents metal on metal contact with your jack. I would recommend to others and perfect companion for your jack.

These aren't as durable as the aluminum ones but they still work well enough to protect your pinch welds when using a floor jack.

I bought a new floor jack recently. My car has the jacking point on the unibody rail. I wasn't sure if it would be ok using a floor jack instead of the Honda provided scissors jack to jack upvmy car. Therefore, I ordered these jack pads. As you can see in the photos, the notch in the pad fits well over the designated jack point on the car. After I removed the jack, the pad did stick to the rail. It was easy to remove though. Good product. However, I really only needed one instead of a four pack since I won't be jacking up my car much....hopefully!

The Jack Pads were not exactly what I thought I was ordering. The slot in the pads were much deeper than I was expecting. They did fit the bill for what I needed them for. The pads fit on the floor jack pad, but didn't exactly fit the jack stands I have. But they did do what I wanted them for.
