I’m a flight attendant and my wings always get snagged on seatbelts and the metal backings pop off. They get lost inside the lining of my dress and it’s always such a pain. Plus if you insert the metal ones incorrectly they stab you through the fabric. These rubber backings work so much better. They go in much more securely and stay put. So far I haven’t had any issues whatsoever. I carry extra in my luggage in case someone else loses their metal backings. I’m going to convert everyone!

Get some to replace the metal ones most hat pins come with! Sooner or later pressure will be applied to the pins location on your head and the scratches, bruising and possible cuts can easily avoided. Even enough in a packet to share with friends at the legion post of the VFW hall

I work in a restaurant where we earn enamel pins for various things from record sales and working holidays to mastering specific skills or being present when certain challenges are met. We wear them on our uniform hats (baseball caps or visors) and they're a fun way to show off to coworkers and customers. But man do the basic pin backs suck. I've lost a couple of my favorite pins to things catching them or hitting them during inventory, dinner rush, and such. They just don't hold firmly. I bought some fantastic locking pin backs here that have prevented any further losses but I've found their size makes them dig into my head and leave painful marks. I bought a pack of these to try out as an alternative and right away noticed my hat feels much lighter even with a couple of new pins added and I had no marks after the shifts I worked. I'm really happy with these so far but I'll update once I've used them for a couple of months to let y'all know if they helped me not lose any pins the way the locking ones did.

When the uniform requires to wear pins, sometimes the backing falls off. These rubber ones are much better than the classic brass/ metal backing since they don’t annoy or irritate. With so many in the package, I have been sharing and won’t need to buy backing ever again

Great value for the money. Exactly what we needed for pins on uniforms to be held. Easy on the fingers to use and hold good.

These backings make wearing my uniform so much more comfortable. No more pins sticking in my chest or pokes when taking them off and on. Wish there was a smaller count package but it is a great value for the price.

It holds my pins in place and they don’t slide off the board.

I'm very happy with these. They fit very snug and they keep my pins from rotating around which is exactly what I wanted. I don't know that I need 100 of them personally, but at least now I know I won't run out.
