I definitely thought I needed a new shoulder rest when the rubber feet on my existing one were rotted but I saw that you could replace the rubber and these are perfect! Whoever recommended a drop of soap is the real MVP of this comment section. Getting them on was super easy and I'm so glad I can continue using my shoulder rest !

The tubing on the feet of my Wolf Forte Primo shoulder rest was cracked. These fit perfectly. You just need patience putting them on.

I was so happy to see that it fits on my Wolf violin shoulder rest! I lubricant the clamps with a little dish detergent and it went smoothly in. Just make sure that ur fingers and the outside of the rubber is dry so u can get a good grip on the rubber to push it in. Btw I tried with water and it didn’t helped to pull it all the way in.

I gave myself a blister trying to get one of these bad boys on my shoulder rest. Then my violin tutor told me to put a drop of liquid soap inside. Worked like a dream! Happy these can be swapped out when they get old.

Nice fix, although the new replacement screws with molded rubber are not too much more in cost and they really are quite nice also. Just spit on the clamp before sliding the tubing on, because if you use isopropyl alcohol (which also lubricates).... it does not dry quickly and if you put the clamp immediately on your violin, the alc will quickly damage the varnish of your violin. Use alc with caution!

put alittle wet soap makes it slide on easier. I had to replace mine since they where over 25 years old and rotted.

Once they're on, they look exactly like the original rubber feet on my Kun shoulder rest.A tip for putting them on:Lubricate with a little bit water inside, and they slip on super easily.Elsewhere online I've seen tips to "add a drop of dish soap", but I worry dish soap will soak through and damage my varnish. Water works just as well, and dries away without a trace.

This product, pre-cut surgical tubing, replaced the worn-out rubber feet protectors on my Kun viola shoulder rest. To make installation easy, slightly moisten the insides of the tubes (water or saliva) and they’ll slide right on.
