With an infant living in the house, we (the grandparents) had to step-up our floor and carpet cleaning.The sweeper sees action at least once every day and performs admirably.While not as effective as our bagless vacuum, it is much quieter (can be used during nap time), much lighter (easier on the back), and very efficiently picks up surface dirt, including cat hair and Christmas tree needles.Our granddaughter likes to help; previouly crawling and pushing, she can now walk (wobble?) and push the sweeper.Cons? Maybe:Some people complain that the handle sections unscrew too easily... true, but a quick twist to the right every time you start sweeping solves that problem, painlessly.The cleaning comb that snaps onto the handle unsnaps way too easily... it is gone (probably moved-in with the lost socks).

The dual brush system is great. The handle is awful---I can't believe engineers designed this thing, so I will assume that they didn't.To address the problem of the handle falling apart into its multiple components while sweeping the rug or floor, I put a thin layer of contact adhesive (costs about $5 at Home Depot) on the male ends of the handle assembly pieces, let it sit for about 36 hours, and I have not had a single problem with the handle after 2 multi-room sweeps.I understand that the handle is in pieces to afford ease of storage, and I can't take apart my handle anymore, but I would never go through the hassle of disassembling and assembling the handle each time I wanted to use it in the first place.If you can store a broom, you can store a sweeper with a permanent handle.The brushes work well, and are a little time-consuming to clean, but they perform well after cleaning.If you don't mind fixing the error of the confused designer at RubberMaid, then I recommend this dual-brush sweeper to you.

I purchased this for the workplace to provide us with a quiet alternative to daily vacuuming. It turned out not to be good for daily/heavy duty use. The handle does not stay together, and we had to tape it to be useful. Our cleaning crew replaced it with a another product after just 1 week because it was not useful.

2 huge Maine Coons and this does an amazingly good job! It is at least 5 times as fast as a regular vacuum for getting hair off of area rugs. It seems like an exaggeration but is true. The only drag is how often we have to get hair cleaned off and out of the rollers, but it has been a pleasure. Still saves time and for a small investment i'm sure it will last. no prob with the handle unscrewing but Loctite would seem to be a good solution..

this is a good buy. the company is real good. i wrote them and they wrote me back that day with my answers. this is a company i will buy from again. the thing is good on flat low carpet, but not thick. good for the busy area's of the house.

This product is absolutely not worth the high price they are charging for it. I paid a lot more than I should have because I used a similar one in Las Vegas a couple of months ago & it was amazing! The model number of the one in the Timeshare in Vegas was just one number off from this one. But what a HUGE difference in the performance of the two. I am very sad that I purchased it in the first place & even more sad that I have probably waited too long to return it. I really needed this type product, but I needed one that worked!

It works very well, I have a large messy dog to clean up after it pick up his dog bone crumbs and his hair. I have been usig it for several months and have nothing bad to say about it

So, what a bummer....I was so excited to be in receipt of this sweeper. It is quite lousy because it does not even pick up crumbs or tinsel on a marble floor or thin carpet...not a good investment at all. I'm sending back. I really wanted to like you, little sweeper....but....newp.
