Worked great for my son's Wonka costume over Halloween, but the construction is quite flimsy since it comes in two pieces and must be twisted together. Very close to the look of the cane in the newest WONKA film though, so my son was happy!

Be gentle with this. But my son used it for Halloween and for his school musical as Wonka. So yeah it will work but not a toy. It isn't as sturdy as a real cane.
