This kit is a very good start to a recovery kit for your truck or jeep. The rope is very well constructed and heavy-duty. The soft shackles are heavy-duty as well. There is a heavy covering that I imagine would be used as something to drape over the middle of the rope or to cover a sharp angle the rope might have to pull over. The gloves in the kit are a nice touch, but I don't see them lasting very long in heavy use. A great setup and I would definitely buy this again.

Last year I got stuck out on a trail and was helped out by a kind passerby who had some recovery rope. It it waste for that rope, I don't think I could have gotten unstuck as quickly as we did. After that incident I started looking for a quality recovery kit to keep in my truck and I think I found one with this kit. Everything is included to allow you to secure the rope to both your vehicle as well as another vehicle. So far I have not had to use this one but it feels solid and appears to be made of quality material. The peace of mind that the kit gives me is worth the cost. Check it out.

I grabbed this recovery rope kit for off-roading, and it’s been a great addition to my gear. The 1-inch by 30-foot recovery rope feels strong and has worked really well when I’ve needed it. The kit comes with everything you’d want—heavy-duty gloves, soft shackles, a recovery ring, a cable damper, and a storage bag, which is super handy.The recovery ring is lightweight but really solid, and the bag keeps everything neat and easy to pack in the truck. Overall, it’s a reliable kit that’s been awesome for my off-road trips. Definitely worth it if you need recovery gear that’s ready to go.

This set is pretty much all you need to recover a stuck off-roading vehicle. It's used to pull it with another vehicle. It comes in a bag, with everything you need. It's all top notch quality, even includes gloves! I've used a different recover rope, same size, and it allowed an XJ Jeep to pull a GMC Sierra z71 crew cab from a very muddy creek, stuck up to it's chassis, uphill. It's pretty incredible how efficient they are, a must have for anybody going off-road, or for that matter, if you have a 4x4, you need this, must have!
