Rugged Ridge makes another Turn Signal Guard that I've installed on another JK. It had three clips that went around the turn signal can, no tape. It was easy and secured the guard well. I should have taken a better look at this guard instead of assuming it would be the same. The Elite has only one clip and a small piece of tape. The tape method will never work here, there simply isn't enough surface area. The tape itself is thin and short, and the OEM turn signal has a bumpy/beaded texture. The tape came off both of them. One right away, the other about a week later. I've done a few tape mods that turned out successful. So I'm pretty sure the issue wasn't with me. I ended up super gluing the guards to the signal lens :D I still like the way the look and they're constructed very well. Too bad they dropped the ball on the 5-yard line.

Adhesive does not work and the guard sticks out from the turn signal.
