Purchased this set of two brackets to build a custom light bar for a 2009 Nissan Xterra. This was the only bracket I could find that let me mount a bar in either horizontal (mounting holes parallel to the roof) or vertical (mounting holes perpendicular to the roof). Most brackets I could find were horizontal only. Also, most brackets will not fit the larger Nissan factory bars. This bracket will work on the round bars that run front to back or the oval-ish cross bars. A bit pricey compared to other brackets but the flexibility was absolutely worth it for me. Very nicely made and good cosmetic match with the silver color of the Nissan factory rack.

Junk, everything was tight, didn't strip the heads of any of the bolts, but where the bracket bolted to the clamp, it didn't tighten up enough. I ended up using a longer bolt and nut to tighten them. First one didn't strip the threads, but the second one did. Yes, they would secure the lights to forks, if......the threads in the clamps don't strip out.

The product itself looks and feels great. Good quality with some heft to it. It is not a cheap Chinese ripoff. The instructions say to use thread lock, make sure you do that!! Especially if this is going on a Jeep or vehicle that you intend to use off road. The design is pretty straight forward. There is a skinny angle and a wide angle. If it doesn't fit one way, rotate it 90 degrees and it will be either smaller are larger to fit the 2.2" - 3" tubing. You also may need to use the smaller or larger hardware depending on the tubing size you're installing this on.The issue I had was that this product does not fit the roll bar padding on the JK/JKU model Jeeps (09-17), specifically our 2017 JK. In the product installation video I viewed they installed an X-Clamp on a TJ and it fit just fine. The padding on the JK is WAY too wide. I hated to do it, but I had to cut the padding to get it installed. To do this I simply rolled back the cloth padding cover and used a box knife to cut the area I was installing the clamp. It is really disappointing that they do not offer an option for the JK roll bars. It cost this product 2 stars since I wanted to keep our Jeep as stock as possible on the inside and had to cut up part of the interior.If this is going on an older model jeep with no roll bar cover or you don't mind cutting the padding on your JK/JKU to get it to fit, then it is a great product. Again, follow the instructions and use thread lock!! Lastly, this can hold just about anything you need it to, not just exterior lights and antennas. I used it to mount an LED lantern bolted to a quick disconnect in an out of the way location in our Jeep. It works perfectly for that!!

The primary purpose of these it to allow mounts onto pipes, that is not very complex and indeed the clamp does mount to pipes. (Frankly so does a clove hitch). However the secondary purpose is to provide the bracket to then mount your accessory (lights). These do not hold as I found out when one of the lights fell off my truck (scratching it) and another was loose after

El producto es bueno pero tiene una falla y es que el tornillo que sujeta la base para el accesorio el muy pequeño y poca rosca si tener tuerca de seguridad por lo que podrÃa aflojarse y caer que fue lo que me pasó,SOLUCIÓNQuite el tornillo trasero y lo remplace con uno pasado con tuerca de seguridad y le hice otro ollo un poco arriba para poner otro ya que la base tiene un juego de unos 3 grados asà quedó firme y sin riesgo de caerseNO COMORAR SI LOsi lo quieres para una antena tienes que modificarlo su no no te servirá por el juego que tiene

Ich habe mir 2 Klemmen bestellt.Der erste Karton war schon einmal geöffnet. Die Tüten für die Schrauben waren offen und die Schrauben, die im Karton vorhanden waren, sind nicht vollzählig gewesen. Es gab 3 verschiedene Längen.Eine Länge (37mm) die ich gebraucht hätte war nur einmal vorhanden.Der zweite Karton war original verpackt. Hier gab es jeweils 4 Schrauben in zwei verschiedenen Längen. ... zum Glück waren 4 Stück in meiner Läge von 37mm dabei.Somit kann man sich hier leider weder auf den Hersteller noch auf den Verkäufer verlassen da beide Kartons unterschiedliche Ware in verschiedenen Mengen liefern.Aufgrund der Fehlenden Teile seitens Händler und unvollständiger Artikelbeschreibung vom Lieferungsinhalt gibt es nur 3 Sterne!Die Schrauben habe ich mir natürlich auf eigene Kosten besorgt.Die Halter in ihrer Art und Funktion verdienen 5 Sterne!!!
