This is a nice pad and keeps our rug from slipping and gives a little cushion too. It does run true to size so if we don’t get the run down exactly, we may have to trim a bit. I would purchase again.

Size was perfect for my 5’x7’. Pad was slightly undersized so it was not exposed. The thickness of the pad gave the carpet a luxurious feel and best of all, no more slipping on the hardwood floors. No smell and the pad laid flat out of the box. Would definitely purchase again.

The pad was thick and good quality. It fit perfectly under my rug and provided a good cushion. The rug stays in place and prevents it from sliding.

I live in an old apartment where the landlords are uncaring toward their tenants and don’t make improvements in a timely manner. The only reason why the unqualified handymen showed up (in my opinion) is because I’m having a baby and we found black mold in our closet from an unresolved leak in the room. I was ready to call code enforcement. The washable rug I have is 8X10 to cover the horribly worn tiles beneath and to make the space more comfy and homey while we are here. The rugpad size I purchased was 7’10†x 9’10†which was perfect because you cannot see the profile of the pad from any side. With the washable rug alone, I could feel the places where the tile had worn through to cement, but with the 1/4†rubberized felt pad beneath, I can hardly feel the imperfections and worn spaces. My husband and I both believe that the little cushion the rug provides offers cushion, an elevated look, and also warms, and sound deadens the space nicely. We are expecting our first child any day now and it was also important for me to have a safe, clean, and soft space for him to get some tummy time in. I wavered between 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch and went with the 1/4 inch… I should have gone a little thicker in hindsight for added cushion, but I’m overall extremely satisfied with my purchase. It laid out flat and therefore was easy to install, is slip resistant, and is quality. Let’s hope it holds up well.

This carpet pad is exactly what I was looking for! I keeps my area rug from sliding and provides added cushion! It even holds up when my 95lbs dog gets the zoomies! It has a bit of a smell which is expected because of the material. I sprayed frebreze and baking soda. The smell was gone! It was easy to cut the access with utility scissors! My area rug is 8x10 for reference.

I’ve ordered several of these rug pads over the past few years for my oriental carpets. I just received the 10 x 13 pad for my extra large new carpet purchase. It fits perfectly and feels luxurious under foot. Though my rug is quite large, I have my bed sitting on part of it, which prevents any movement. I ordered the 3/8†thickness and very pleased with the quality of the product!

I got the 1/4 , it is very sturdy. I did not notice any smell. Fine Grip. I got the size 9x 12 rug pad is true to size!

A good product. Be careful of the size though. The ad says 8x10 but we received a 9x12 so instead of sending it back and waiting another week and a half I just cut it to size.
