I saw these and thought they would be so great to wear around the house. We live near the coast, so we tend to spend quite a bit of time at the beach, especially in the summer. When I first started wearing these pants, my wife said she loved them and that I should wear them the next time we have our date night and head to the beach. The material is lightweight and breathes well. They are so comfortable to wear and feel great when you are just lounging around. They fit very well, and I love how they are a little more narrow along the ankle area. The material is lightweight but still feels like it will hold up well. I love these pants.

I'm glad I waited to review these pants and took time to read the description because they are everything the ad says they are. These are Middle Eastern in origin and have continued to be worn by people living in, and from that region. Over time they have been adopted by different groups such as the 60's counterculture, Yoga enthusiasts, etc. I always put clothing I review through the washer before my comments and was impressed how wrinkled they were when they came out of the dryer. Clearly, I did little more than look at the photos before I ordered them. Nothing says "American" like this kind of behavior. That said, these pants are everything the ad says. They are 100% cotton, and as such, expect to deal with wrinkles. The material is better after the wash as it gathers into a tighter weave so that you don't have to worry about what underwear you have on when you find yourself standing between your guests and the setting sun. They do provide modesty which I'm sure informed the original design. They are light and cool and provide plenty of room, yet because they taper at the ankles, pass for very stylish casual pants. I like them...a lot.

I showed the product page with photos to my husband to see if he would be interested in these Mens Kaftan Thobe Pants Cotton Casual Elastic Waist Drawstring Muslim Trousers Summer Yoga Kurta Pants with Pockets. They are 100% Cotten, per the product page, and he thought the gathering at the cuffs/ankles make them look less casual than a pair of sweat pants. So, I ordered them in size Large, per the product page size chart (he has an 36†waist) and the fit is perfect. He says they are very comfortable and soft, and he would definitely order them again. The 2 side seam pockets and a back pocket make for utility and versatility. I washed them after he tried them on, but before he actually wore them. I washed on gentle in cold water, fluffed them up in the dryer on medium for a minute or 2, then hung them to air dry, and they didn’t shrink or fade. Easy care, attractive, 100% cotton, casual drawstring waist pants offered in a variety of colors for a reasonable price.

My first impression was not all positive due to the feel of the fabric – which was described on the product page as 100% cotton. Cotton should be smoother and with a different weave. I looked at the inner label. It stated 100% cotton. But I wasn't buying it. They felt like they had something else happening, perhaps linen.I went back to the product page. Nothing about linen, or anything else. Then I looked at the plastic bag they came in (shrink-wrapped, like a fish fillet) and found a label on it that states "...cotton linen". Aha. So they do contain LINEN ! That made all the difference to me in terms of my appreciation of what I have here.Now I like everything about them... except maybe the depth of the pockets. The legs are slim and make for an attractive look (so says my wife). And the elastic at the bottom of the legs, which I thought might be an issue, is not. It feels right. I do not practice yoga, but I will be wearing these a lot around the house during the winter in place of jeans, and probably in the warmer months too. So much more comfortable than jeans.

I was a little bit hesitant in ordering these, as I am used to typical sweatpants instead of these cotton ones. They are 100% Cotten and gathering at the ankles I ordered them in size Medium (I am 5'7" at 180 lbs.) per the product page size chart and the fit is good. They are very comfortable and soft. I washed them after he tried them on delicate and dried on a medium heat and they did not shrink or fade. Interesting option if you want something different then the typical sweatpants.

This pant was light weight and very comfortable to wear. The cloth felt very nice on your skin and will be breezy for the summer weather. The design on the legs makes it more stylish and convenient to wear, as it keeps it in the right height. I chose the black color as it goes perfectly with all the darker thobes that I have. The drawstring was easy to tie and stayed snugly without getting loose. The pockets are an added advantage if you chose to ware it with your shorter thobes.

As a person of height, I quite like that the legs are plenty long. The pants are quite comfortable and seem ideal for warm weather wear.
