We sand and restore lenses for all of our Tesla headlights. I own Headlights NW and Teslux Innovations and we use Dynabrade sanders, Griots garage/Meguires 3” buffers on batches of 100 headlights nearly every month. Today we received this buffer and let me tell you… this buffer has officially changed our process entirely! The amount of power and control you have with this little powerhouse will blow your mind especially coming from someone who has been restoring polycarbonate lenses for over 13 years! Even when using it on non coated lenses it just smooths out every imperfection from sanding which has never happened on ANY other buffer we have used! If you want the best bar none… this is the ticket. Period!

I use the LHR75 to polish aluminum on an aircraft. For right angle corners and curved surfaces that are difficult to get into with a larger tool like a Cyclo, the Rupes LHR75 is an excellent tool. Unlike paint waxing/polishing tasks, when polishing metal you have to use a polish cloth wrapped around the random orbital head and the cloth has to be moved aggressively. The Rupes tool has power and sufficient throw to effectively move a polish cloth. Unlike numerous electric polishers I have tried, the Rupes LHR75 did the job and had power to spare. The tool is also light and does not heat up as electric polishers do.The only downside I have observed with the LHR75 is that the throttle lever guard is annoying overcome while also holding a polish cloth, so I will probably remove the guard spring.
