I bought these sweatshirts for a friends tour with my high school friends (45 year reunion) These sweatshirts are super comfortable as well as having supple fabric. The color is rich and true to the ad. I was impressed with the value for the quality. The weight is medium but definitely was cozy on a cool fall weekend.

Cozy and the fit is well true to size! I use these for work and nursing school as logos aren’t allowed but those long shifts overnight can be cold these help stay warm without getting too hot! Will be purchasing in other colors!

A week ago or so my partner told me my old black sweatshirt I have loved for uh, 20-30 years is filthy and she wanted to wash it. I said, it has old paint, patina and why wash it- It will only get it dirty again. I wear it for my shop or other chores and love the loose fit. I said I am not sure it has ever been washed! In a regretful moment I gave it to her to wash.Later, “here you go schweetie, all washed and dried.†I tried it on...and “oh no, it shrank, and is now too short-blast!â€.Thus my search for a new one as comfy as the short one. I recalled decades ago thinking the Russell brand was good, and is my old one a Russell? Is it still good, reading commenters grieving over loss of quality in sweatshirt brands?Coming across the current Russell brand on Amazon and reading the reviews....and just $17, I will give it a try. My old one was Large, I usually size Medium, but I want it comfy big. Today, it came and score! The Large is perfect as it is and it does meet my standards in all regards. I will never allow it to be washed-ever! I am 5’11†and about 170 pounds for reference.I may buy more in other colors, do they come with splattered paint, mud, dry caulk, oil and “what is that?†No fear it soon will have the patina I love....

I would wear this every day I think. It's very soft and durable. It keeps me warm but isn't too heavy or thick (it's breathable). The neckline is high but not choking. I ordered a size up because I wanted it baggy and it fits just how I wanted. 10/10.
