I’ve been looking for so long for a pair of comfortable softball pants for my daughter , that had good stretch but holds her pants up. These are the best. Pants feel like butter but the waist elastic and material holds them up great , no need to yank her pants up constantly. If you’re thinking about buying these they are worth it!

These are super soft and stretchy. She was questioning the strength of these as the knee area isn’t layered as most pants are. And our suspicions were confirmed - these are NOT durable at all. My daughter wore for 2-3 HS level softball games and the knee already has a sizeable hole it in.

Buying softball pants for our daughter has turned into a fulltime job. Between her High School and travel teams, having the right colors and sizes for all the games and practices is hard. These Russell Athletic Softball pants were pretty low on her list (She normally wears Mizuno)Notes-- The biggest complaint was that they seam seem "itchy" - I am not sure how to quantify that other than she said they bugged her.- The pants are more like leggings than traditional softball pants. They are very elastic in their fit.- I am curious about the overall durability - since these are very elastic and somewhat thin, I wonder how they will hold up to hard slides into second base (and other bases!)Final Verdict - My daughter said that she will use these as her "Emergency" back-up black pants. That is an improvement over some of the pants we have tried over the years, but it still falls short of the mark.

I dont know exactly what "flex stretch" is but these are the softest, best stretching softball pants we've ever bought. Worth every penny!
