Bought this unit for an sp1075, bolted right up and seemed to a great purchase. 5 storms in and the gear box strips out making the unit worthless. I would not buy this product again.

Bought as a replacement for a SnowEx Mini-575 and the fit was perfect and an easy swap and spun like the dickens. Yahoo! When I went to use it under load, my controller gave me an immediate error. Uh Oh! After I spun the unit by hand and made sure the auger was not jammed or stuck and the salt was dry the unit worked but slower then the original factory unit. All in all it worked but was a bit disappointing in its performance. For the money, it's good if you use your salter for smaller job like I do. If for a large job or continuously I would recommend the factory replacement.

Holes lined up , wired right up , and it works high and low settings on my salt spreader, so far so good time will tell. Decent value so far
