First, watch the sales & they're worth every penny! There are often deep discounts on these rugs. Don't see it? Put one in your cart & wait for the price to drop. Keep an eye out for coupons to stack on top of % off. Sometimes only certain sizes or colors are on sale, so play around with it.I now have 3 of these rugs. One gray, one blue 8x10. One gray 9x12. High-traffic areas for 2 of them. We have pets and a horde of teenage boys are frequently at the house. I've now had these for 6 months, in mucky fall & starting a slushy winter. They are holding up beautifully.As far as washing...I've only "spot-washed" when needed. We puppy-sat & the pup got out of his kennel, had an accident & it dried before I noticed it. The backing prevented it from soaking through & onto my hardwoods. I place an old towel behind the backing (just in case) and use gentle, natural cleaners. Stains remove quite nicely. That's how I treat them for mud & other stains too. Works like a charm. Although these rugs are advertised to be able to go into the washer... mine are pretty big & I'm not willing to try it. My washer has an agitator, so I just don't think it would fit. I'm considering trying a laundromat for spring cleaning.Now onto the rug itself. True-to-color from Amazon's pictures. As other reviewers have mentioned, they are not a thick rug. Note: they are low-pile thin, not a material that thins with age (so far). I have some non-skid rug underlayment that I think I'm finally going to try under them. They already have a non-skid backing that works great...it will just add to the cushioning.These rugs are extremely soft to the touch, and comfy on my feet when I get out of bed. The teenagers all love to sprawl out on the rugs, but after a while, they can feel the hardness of the wood floors coming through (thus the underlayment I'm going to add) Regardless, the teens also like to wrap themselves in a burrito with the big living room rug. Like I said, soft to the touch. I imagine they will stay soft, because there's not been much lint or fiber removed from my vacuuming. They keep the fluff they have.The only con is the thin-ness, but I don't know how else these could be machine-washable. I'm sure it works fine for the smaller-sized rugs.All in all, I'd fully recommend these rugs.

This rug is an awesome price point for what you get. It’s super soft, almost like a blanket, but thin. It rolled out nicely and stays flat. It is kind of difficult to vacuum with it being so thin. The pattern and colors are really nice and I’m super happy with it.

This rug is amazing. We have a 10 yo German Shepherd with hip displasia. She was having trouble getting up and this rug ( which covered the living room) helped her mobility. Accidents clean up easily, it looks great and is so soft. It looks better in person, and I will be ordering more. We used it immediately-it did not have a smell and after 1-2 days the shipping creases were gone.

I have been on the hunt for a machine washable area rug and was convinced that Ruggable was the only viable and worthwhile investment. I was disappointed when I learned they (Ruggable) will not ship to my address, I am overseas and have an APO. So naturally I turned to Amazon and came accross RUGGME which had the best patterns/designs and prices. Here is what I love:1. Not sure what I thought 9'x12' would look like but it is HUGE.2. It is sooooo soft!!! Like imagine petting a baby bunny soft!3. I haven't washed it yet but I have wiped up small spills which just bead on the top so it wipes away easily.As much as I'm satisfied with this purchase, there are some drawbacks that are annoying but not a deal breaker for me.1. It's a bit thin, there's not a "pad" underneath which I could buy I supposed but it's not terrible.2. Because it's thin, it does not vaccume easily, my Dyson sucks the carpet up causing it to stop the suction of course. So instead we've been spot cleaning with the stick vaccume which works for now. Not sure what well have to fo if we encounter a large mess.All in all, if your looking for a stylish and affordable washable carpet RUUGME is a great option.

Loved the color and pattern when I saw it, but wasn’t sure about the quality of the rug for the price. It is fairly thin BUT can go into your washing machine. It does NOT slide around on tile floor!m either. My son says it’s our softest rug yet! Even my husband loves the rug. Great for dogs! Both the texture and pattern with all the dirt they bring in! Love this rug!

This rug is absolutely beautiful!! Would recommend it 200%. It was an excellent price , true to size and color, so soft to the touch. The fact that I can was it is a plus! It also stays in place and doesn’t scoot around! So pleased with my purchase
