Product was as expected. Easy to install. Arrived as scheduled. Will have to wait for a rain to see if it seals the third brake light fixture without leaking. But from the condition of the old gasket I took off this one is a better quality and a little thicker, so I expect it to work well and not leak..

I used one of these to replace the leaking third brake light seal on my 2015 Chevrolet 2500HD and it worked great. After a couple of months the leak is still gone. I WOULD RECOMMEND this replacement for anyone.

Ah, the infamous third brake light water intrusion... IFYKYK. This works, very well. I used this to replace the OEM seal, and I have not had any issues. It solved the issue, and it's very affordable and easy to do yourself. It should only take 5-10 minutes. It's really that easy. Don't hesitate to buy this. And, since you get 2, help a friend out!

Replaced the original gasket that had failed in my 2015 GMC Sierra. leaving water stains above my rear seats. It has been about 3 months now and seems to still be working. Pretty flimsy little gasket so I don't have a ton of confidence in it working for a long time so I'm going to keep an eye on it. Comes in a pack of 2 so you have a spare if it fails again.

Compared to factory gasket that leaked and stained headliner this is an excellent replacement. Took 15 minutes to remove light, clean off old gasket material and install new one. Well worth the money and no more leaks.

This was a much better gasket than the OEM, the thickness doesn't make the third light stick out that much more than OEM, was nice that it came with 2 gaskets for any future leaks, I don't think the gasket will fail itself, but that doesn't mean that in the winter months when water freezes in between the light and sheet metal that it won't try to pull it open, because we should all know that water expands when it freezes, at least I hope most people know that ... lol .. Should that happen we have a back-up gasket if you bought this set :-)I will say though,, Chevy should have put 1 or 2 more screws in the center of the third light to keep it from trying to bow when something expands & contracts, makes me think of the Intek small engine motor and how they forgot to put a bolt in the (almost) center of cylinder head between Piston & Valves, so it keeps blowing the gasket in between the two because there is nothing to pin the gasket down there. They only put bolts on the outer edge of the cylinder head...
