I like this collapsible awning puller. It is light and well built. Extends to about 5 feet to easily reach my awning pull ring. Then collapses down to 1 foot for easy storage. I also like it for reaching items that end up at the front of my truck bed. Good value compared to the cost of the solid rod pullers that are hard to store and always getting tangled up. Recommend

This collapsing awning puller is awesome. I have a 20+ year old Airstream with the manual zipdee awning. The stick that was supplied works great. But it’s long and hard to store. It’s hard to get that OEM stick in and out of the little storage compartment in the Airstream. When I saw this collapsible awning puller, I had to try it. We just got back from a solid week of camping, and this awning puller performed great! It was so much more convenient to grab this compact thing, then unfurl it for use. I pull the awning down, and then fold the awning puller back to its compact stowable form. Perfect. It looks so much better than the original. It seems well build and sturdy. And it was inexpensive. Perfect.

I have 7 awnings on my 40 ft motorhome. At my 6' 6" height, I can usually str-e-e-e-tch to reach the fabric handle loops on each of them, although sometimes I have to dig out a step-stool from the baggage holds below my living space so that I can reach them when my coach is level but where it is parked is not. This simple stick with a hook on the end of it stows inside next to my front door, allowing me to leave the step stool where it lives, undisturbed. This is a great product; I highly recommend it!

Perfect for my use. Using it for my projector screen. Seems cheap though, not sure it will handle too much weight. I don't usually extend it out but the metal is thin if you do so don't expect a whole lot from it. It's held up for me how I'm using it. Took one star off because the metal like I said is thin.

I bought these for an alternate use where I will be lifting something light weight up to a height, and pulling it back down. It should work for my case as well, but the way it was built it definitely works for pulling. I could also see this being useful for people who need to pull down a manual retracting screen like we used to have in school -- if the person is too short, or if the students toss the string up over the screen.I especially like the screw threads in the base of the handle. I am not sure what they are intended for, but if I can match the threads, I can add another extension on, if I need even more reach.
