I needed to be able to latch the interior cover for the engine on my RV and this fit the job perfectly. It was fairly easy to install and has worked perfectly.

I installed this onto a cooler to keep the lid secured on float trips and while being hauled outside of my vehicle on a hitch carrier or trailer. It is made of quality components and fastens securely. It will work great for various situations. The knob in the middle of the latch makes the handle very easy to get ahold of when it is unlatched because it holds it out away from the cooler slightly. im assuming that is the reason it is there

Nice product. No issues or problems. I decided to rivet onto the trailer inset of using the supplied screws. The screws, in my opinion, were a little small/weak and i questioned the longevity.

I bought this rubber tie down for a bi-fold tailgate. It worked good when the gate was in the upright position,but when the gate was lowered to the flat position, the rubber would stretch and didn't appear very strong.It was really made for a car hood that doesn't have to hold any weight. I ended up buying a metal toggle clampnumber LT-431 that fit perfect and works great. Experiments do cost money, just live and learn.
