Excellent mounting arm, is extremely rigid when tensioned, made out of very rugged material it is extremely well made and machined. Very easy to use and set up. Just as easy to disassemble and take down. Not only can this attachment arm be used for setting up a star link but with the 1/4 20 base it can also be used as amount for action cams or even a radio or TV antenna making this an even more multi functional mount.

First, it's almost surely not a "dust clamp"! The vendor might want to proofread their product page if they meant "duty" instead of "dust". But what it does do is allow a mount for cameras, including trail cameras and security cameras, since it has a 1/4 20 tripod screw. I use it in the backyard for holding cameras to observe wildlife. I mount those cameras on bird feeder poles and can position them about any way I want to get them on target with the magic clamp.The product construction seems solid, but I would prefer that the balls that fit in the clamp sockets be dimpled for a better grip that doesn't slip over time, rather than the smooth balls provided here. Other products like these do have dimpled balls.

I have been happy with these clamp mounts and use them for a multitude of applications.The hold is firm and you can easily adjust the position of these mounts.Very happy with this product.

Got this to mount my starlink mini on the roof rack of my truck when stopped to camp so it is up and out of the way, the clamp feels beefier than I was expecting and you can really camp it down, it holds my starlink mini easily, even when it is pretty windy out, I would recommend it if you are looking for a mount like this
