I had an original 3 panel glass shower door that has been a pain to keep on the tracks. the track, stops and wheels were all plastic. This door was so easy to install IF the directions were followed regarding the steps for the installation. The frame is aluminum and the door is some type of plastic on a roller. The 3ft wide frame fit perfectly in the opening. Because the side vertical frame pieces have foam tape, correct order of installation is critical. Once the paper is peeled off the foam strip and attached to the wall it is very difficult to remove. I learned from experience. Also required is a strip of silicone sealant along the bottom rail from the inside to prevent leaking under the frame. Instructions did not state this. The door looks great and I actually have more room inside the shower because its one panel instead of the 3 stacking panels I had before. No additional curtains are required on the outside because a person can't be seen in the shower, only a dark fuzzy figure.

You'd like to assume a product would make it through the install before falling apart, but no. With no provided instructions, it appears you need to preassemble prior to installing in shower, however it all fits awkwardly together and the spring in the door presses against the rails so unless you have four hands it's near impossible to hold together while installing and because of this, the door ear snapped during the install. They should make the pieces lock together prior to install to prevent thisUpdate 11/19: When attempting to return a defective item, seller requires me to pay for shipping. That's absolutely absurd to have to pay shipping on something that is not my fault.

One of the three panel doors was broken when we returned from our first trip this year. Called several sources and all wanted to sell me a full set only so tried to find a salvage door with no luck. Tried glass replacement suppliers but all needed 6 to 8 weeks for delivery. Then found this solution and it seems great. Haven't completed the install yet but expect great results. So, this solution gets rid of the glass weight and breakage. Glad I found it.

Install was easy. Just had to trim bottom and top rails a 1/4 inch. Honestly, it was the caulking that killed me. Did both inside and out and with the limited room in the bathroom, it was a bit of a challenge at times. Seems like it is made well. It definitely makes the bathroom look a lot better. Originally had some shipping issues due to FedEx damaging items. Manufacturer was great to deal with and responses were quick. Would recommend.

The Product came without instructions which a handyman could do with out but would be nice to have to make the installation faster and easier. is is well built and works as advertised. I used it in my shower and it looks great and works well. no more shower curtain to mess with and no water on the floor. I would recomend it, but should have at least basic instructions or pictures of assembled product.
