I love the colors/fabric design in this dress. The fabric is very lightweight, there is no stretch at all in the fabric, and it is see through (in sunlight) so I'll be wearing a slip.Even though I really like this dress, I don't think I have the best body shape for this dress, which is smaller on top and fuller at hips/bottom. I am a 34C, 27" waist, 39" hips. Height 5'3". I ordered a small, and I'm glad I did because the fit is very nice, yet still plenty of room. That being said, I need to wear a belt with this for it to look OK from the side view. It looks fine in the front and back without a belt, but turn to the side and it's that dreaded Christmas tree or tent appearance.I see there are a lot of reviews with ladies saying that it's tight in the chest but I think it may be designed that way to prevent the tent appearance from the side view. In fact, I am actually thinking of adding either elastic or a tie under the chest that I can pull back to tighten the chest, which would aid in resolving the tent-like appearance from the side, as an alternative to wearing a belt.I do like this dress and love so many of the color choices. I'm debating whether or not to get another one though since I know the only way it looks OK on me is to wear a belt. I would rather find a dress made with the same fabric choices that is a different style and cut. I need to focus on my waist since it's small on me. I think someone who has a larger top or does not like to focus on the waistline, this would be a much better fit and experience.

I absolutely love this style of dress for my church gatherings! I am 5' 6" tall, 155 lbs, 38 bust, medium build and 68. During the days I'm working the ranch in jeans and hat, tossing bales of hay and scrubbing out rabbit pans. Sunday is the only day of the week that I can be a lady in appearance and behavior. I am an incredibly picky person when it comes to dresses and femininity. When I dress up, I have to sparkle and shine. The rest of the week I can be a pig. So there are very few dresses or styles that appeal to me. Many are way too 'youthful' in appearance for my age. I'm a very country farming individual, and live in the AZ desert, so I like wearing things that cover the knees, the arms, and the breasts! As a Christian that is a must. I'm not big on frills either. Simple, western, even exotically Mexican fits my needs and this design does it. I don't care for tight fitting outfits. Loose is best. And this dress design provides all of what I desire without overdoing the fancy perks to keep it both casual and for special occasions. I wear this with some really cute stone-colored knee high lacy leather boots and my husband adores the overall outcome. The upper panels on this dress give it a nice bodice and definition, and to prevent any 'cleavage' from being exposed (my dirty pillows) I tie the bottom tassles very tightly and add a safety pin to close up the gap. It is an over-the-head dress, so I do my hair after I put the dress on, otherwise I'll have a bedhead appearance. The pattern is absolutely adorable, yet not too childish or immature, so I pull it off nicely. My husband adores this style on me, and says it makes him feel like a kid again. The bottom flows so beautifully and there is no sheerness. I spray and toss the dress into the dryer to remove all wrinkles. The material is very light and wafts prettily around my knees. It is country all the way with a fling of dressy. It can be worn with or without a hat, but not my working hat, so I'll be seeking out future hats that are more church appropriate. The design looks like it was made for me, brassy yet subtle and the pastels are amazing. Colors are true to the display, and I opt for an XXL. Not because I'm a 16-18 figure (I'm truly only a medium to large figure with 38 bust) but because I like the fuller skirting and the ease of extra to pull it over my head and not struggle. The sleeves have elastic wrists and can be pulled up for a different style. I so fell in love with this design and loose flow that I have purchased 5 versions already and will likely purchase more. They do have other button down dresses similar in patterns that I might also consider. Well made, beautiful colors, and if you're a blonde like me, the sky is the limit on choices. Highly recommend for older women!!!

Let me say that I absolutely love this dress! I'm 5'8', 239 lbs, with a mostly hourglass figure. I ordered the pink dress in a XXLarge. It fits beautifully on top. I love the colors and pattern and the material is lovely. It fits great in the arm length too. (Not too sure about the double ties at the chest but that's no biggie.) The dress looks very nice from the front but when I turn to the side and look at it, it is not flattering at all. I look like I'm wearing a muumuu or tent! It's just too much material and it adds way too much volume. Otherwise, this dress is super comfy, beautiful and fits well. If I ordered the XL, I think it would be too snug across the bust as this XXL fits just right and I think there would still be the issue of too much material in the dress. I'm returning it and I hate it but I want to feel good and beautiful in what I wear and this doesn't do it for me.

I wanted to love this dress. But, I am pear-shaped and not able to find dresses that fit properly on Amazon. I love the many tops I've ordered and so many other items, but the fit of dresses is not flattering for my body style. I am keeping this dress because I love the colors and the fabric. If I wear a blazer over it, it works. I normally wear 2x which is a little large in tops but loose and flowing. But in dresses the shoulders are so very large compared to the lower portion of the dress. While the dress fits from the waist down, the top is huge. Over-all most dresses I've tried look too big and baggy on the upper body, not flattering at all. On the plus side, I love the fabric, the long sleeves with elastic at the wrist and the colors are lovely. Oh, the length is mid-calf and perfect. So, there's a lot to like, if only the fit was better.

Lo lave a mano porque asi lo pide y creo que es lo mejor, despinto ligeramente nada mas( que es lo esperado) , El material de la borla es ta muy bonito pero requiere cuidado por so el lavado a mano. Esta muy bien cortado. amplio por el estilo boho pero proporcionado. Los terminados son muy buenos, yo se cortar y coser y considero que asi lo habria hecho yo. La impresion de la tela es muy buena , definida y los colores intensos, preciosos!!! Estoy encantada, pedire otro color. Y colgado con cuidado, no necesitó plancha!!!

I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered 2 sizes up, so an XXL. The dress arrived, well packaged and delivered to Melbourne much faster than expected.It was way too big for me. I should have ordered only one size up, but I can sew, so was prepared to modify it. I sewed the bodice in by one inch on either side to the waistline, but because the dress flared out a lot, I actually drew lines 6 inches inwards from each side and tapered the dress to the waist. It's an absolutely perfect fit for me now, much more flattering, and I plan to order another colour and do the same modifications.I washed the dress in a 20minute cycle at 30celcius with other dark colours and it washed up beautifully. I hung it out to dry (as pictured). It was a windy Melbourne day, and it dried quickly with no creases and no shrinkage or colour fade.I like that the bodice part is lined, and the fabric is a decent weight cotton rayon blend. It will be great for travelling, weekend wear or "casual Fridays" at work.I didn't like the deep neckline, so I just sewed a sneaky running stitch down from the lower tassels, and it looks modest now, without needing a singlet underneath.The dress comes in lots of pretty prints, but I chose this one, because there is so much going on, Art Deco peacocks, yellow and teal contrasts, lots of bands of pattern. It looks a lot more expensive than it is.It will be great for Melbourne's last month of winter right now, and the moderate weather of Spring.
