When I bought the 7.0gr pellets, I did not know about these (8.2gr). I bought 4 tins for target shooting and pest control (Norwegian roof rats). I wanted accurate pellets and needed consistency in weight and diameter. While totally unnecessary for my needs, these should do the job quite nicely. Domed pellets will have more penetration than I want. These flat nosed "match-target" pellets will get the job done quite nicely due to the flat nose and make for a more efficient means to an end (rodents). Not taking shots that are that far away, but don't need the over penetration of the domed pellets.I am truly impressed by the packaging. All 4 tins were stacked and placed in layers of compressed foam, then the outside covered in cardboard and taped together. Not a one could have been damaged.
