I grew up shooting a compound bow with my dad at hay targets, and wanted to get that tradition passed onto my son as well! He is much too young at the moment to even begin thinking about using it, but it's going to be perfect for once he reaches the right age. The directions were a bit tough to follow to put it together, and I had to go back and disassemble a couple times before I finally got it right. But the tensioners and knock worked great out of the box! I dialed up the pull weight until I felt comfortable with it, and took a couple test shots, dialing in the accuracy each time. For the money, this is a great beginner bow, and will fit just about everyone and it shoots pretty accurately once you sight it in. I like it enough that I will keep tinkering with it and testing it until my son is ready to try it out. Great value for the money for a beginner compound bow!
