Living in New Orleans we have every window shuttered due to Storms and Hurricanes, since these are heavy shutters I ordered these Shutter Dogs to help in holding the shutters open and when the weather makes it necessary they are easy to open so the shutters can be closed. I find that they are easy to turn releasing the shutters when we close and open. No tools are needed to open or close and are very stylish with the Black Shutter Dogs against a White House. I recommend these and will definitely buy these again.
