Quality knee pads and you pay for it. These will be overkill for many but if you want what is basically the best on the market thats these pads.

It is a bit stiff at first but they break in once you skate them like once the straps feel good and are tough as nails

It’s good. My kid is a blocker on two leagues. Her gear takes a lot of abuse. Her last set lasted years.

These are the only kneepads I was able to find in the size I needed. I could have probably gone with a size 3 because of my measurements but I'm glad I went with the size 2x because it is snug but fits. They are very comfortable. I've been going to derby practice and am on my knees doing exercises and falling. These offer a lot of protection from falling and don't irritate my legs at all. Overall, good product and worth the money.

Cons: For short thick ladies, XL size is big bulky and uncomfortable to skate. Straps are too short. Knee pads slip slightly off knees because knee pad is too big.Pros: Great Protection. Feel nothing when I fall on knees. Still glad I bought themRecommendation: Make your knee pad circumference proportional to a womans knee size and straps adjustable to go around big legs. Some of us are built thick and strong and just because we need an XL strap doesn't mean we need an XL knee pad. You need a woman's knee pad line. This is probably XL for a man. Other wise Great product. I think for the leaner folks you have no problem.

Out of all the knee pads I have tried so far I like these the most.

I'm replacing these with something else that's less awkward to get on and off.
