These pickleballs are great for outdoor play. The holes are smaller than indoor pickleballs to reduce the effects of the wind. I also like the orange color, which provides good contrast against typical outdoor pickleball surfaces.Like most seamless balls you can see a ridge around the circumference, but this is usually an artifact of the manufacturing process and does not necessarily indicate the ball was originally two pieces.As far as play, I'd say they bounce pretty well and seem to be durable. So overall I'm happy with these balls.

The X40s are considered the holy grail for pickleball sessions. These S-40s are very close to it but don't match its performance in terms of bounce vs. the X40s. Just not as pronounced and also feels quite light despite weighing the same.

My view of pickleballs is that they are rather digital. They either work or they don't work. These work. They bounce,, they spin, they're easy to see. I enjoy playing the game with them, and the price is reasonable.

I decided to try these balls since they are priced well and usaPickleball approved and seemed to be of the harder plastic type that plays fast and allows good spin. I also liked that they were seamless roto molded and drilled so there's no seam to break or go out of round. In looking for a recreational play ball...I am looking for a price advantage, durability and quality of play comparable to the harder balls used in tournaments like the Dura40. I don't have full durability data just yet but they held up well in one day of use without any out of roundness or cracks in a chilly temperature. If a ball fails before 20 games consistently then it is no bargain and any initial savings is wiped out. So far there is no problem with these being hit hard and standing up to banger abuse. I also like the slightly scuffed finish on the new balls as they are not prone to skipping as some of the slick & shiny new ones are.While I tried just the 3 pack...the best savings are on the 12 pack. These are a good choice for a ball machine hopper as well. Definitely recommended!

These outdoor pickle balls are reasonably priced and they bounce fairly well. They are durable and play pretty well with. The color I have is vibrant and easy to see. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase.

These are good outdoor balls: they have reasonable bounce, seen to bounce fairly true and seem pretty durable. They are "seamless" in that they don't have a raised seam but they do have a little indentation around the ball where the pieces are joined. It doesn't seem to affect the bounce of the ball, though.The color is very vibrant and easy to see. Not everyone likes orange but most of the people I play with felt this one was easy to track on the court.These are decent balls that should satisfy most rec players.

While many balls claim to have the USA Pickleball seal of approval, these balls show up in the approved balls listing on the official website.Bright orange color for enhanced outdoor visibility. No need to check the specs on these since they are approved. I do like the stamping on these balls so I can tell these are mine versus others playing with similar color pickleballs.Unfortunately, these arrived at the tail end of the outdoor season so I can't comment on their longevity versus other brands that have been played through multiple sessions. Initial play results were favorable for bounce and durability. Would buy this brand again just to have some approved game balls available.
