After doing a ton of research for an automatic litter box I settled on this one. I don’t have the space for one of the large round options out there. I needed something fairly compact. It checked that box but I will say it is not small and there is plenty of room in there for the cat. The lower front entry and high side walls do a good job of keeping the litter inside where it belongs. I was pleasantly surprised to see the included litter mat. The operation is smooth and very quiet. It’s actually a pretty simple but genius design. After your cat does the deed it runs two passes to ensure it got everything. Other than some pee clumps that break apart it has done a great job. It seems to me they could have made the rake prongs a bit closer together to help with that but it’s not a deal breaker to have a few small clumps. The factory setting has it clean 1 minute after the cat leaves the box. That’s great because it scoops the mess so quickly afterwards that the smell doesn’t linger. As for smell, so far it seems to do a great job keeping the odor contained in the bin. It comes with some bags that fit the bin. It’s a small size bag and I haven’t looked for replacements yet but I imagine they are available. Lastly it does connect to a free smart home app. It’s super easy to connect and seems to work well. If you want to know how often your cat is using the box, it will tell you in the app. Overall I would recommend giving this one a try. Time will tell how well the motors last but not having to scoop the box and knowing the cat will always come back to a clean box is worth it.

This is my 6th automatic litter box and it works very well! I have had it for 3 weeks now and it cleans very quietly. The cats like it because it is an open model (they don’t need to go into a capsule or box). The trash bin is very large and can hold 4-5 days worth of poo and pee.I use clay litter that clumps well, so that works well with this machine. I can set the cleaning time to 15 min, which ensures a tight clump. I was a little worried about the size, as a few of my cats are 13-14 pounds. They use it without any issues. The only thing I noticed is the sides, where the scooper moves is getting dirty with litter, which may prevent the roller from going smoothly.Otherwise, I am very satisfied with this time-saving litter box and is a great value!

It was time to replace our self cleaning litter box. We had our last one for a couple of years. I didn’t want one of the automatic ones with a cover because I didn’t think our two cats would like the change. This one works so great and I like the color!!! It’s quiet and it clears the litter so well. We also like the ease of opening the drawer to empty the waste. It’s SO easy! It’s worth every penny.

We had purchased another automatic litter box prior to this one. The opening was a small circle hole entry and our rescue cat Mochachino,REFUSED to use or even put a paw in. I had to return that one and search again. I read all the details, specifications, and great reviews, and decided to buy this lifesaver. We were not disappointed.The open rectangular design is large and spacious for our big boy who is long, fluffy, and 10lbs.We had to go away over the holidays for 12 days and knew that this was what we were going to have to have for his box to stay clean. Although we had friends come to feed him, we didn’t want them to have to do a daily scooping. It is absolutely FANTASTIC!! The thing I love most is it’s very efficient and QUIET. Mochachino jumps at the slightest noise and he absolutely LOVES this electric litter box. My husband set it to clean itself 10 minutes after he leaves, and it does the job perfectly. Set up was easy, and we change the litter bag once a week. Clean up is a breeze, and with the purchase came a roll of sturdy litter disposal bags. I would DEFINITELY recommend and purchase again!

This thing works like a dream as far as scooping litter. The box is always clean and I rarely have to manually scoop what it missed. I have it set to a 1 minute timer and use the Arm and Hammer clumping litter.It was difficult to find litter bags but found some that fit a 23x12 inch box on amazon.My cat kept turning the machine off because the led lights are lit up all the time. Solved that but purchasing power button push button covers for a pc. I searched “pc power button cover catâ€. Perfect fit and solution and I can easily flip it open to push it if needed.The box is easy to clean and it fully conceals all smells of cat waste. Only a brief whiff as it empties and its gone very quickly.The only reason I removed a star is because it can be quite loud and can go on for over a minute or two. Loud enough that I have to turn it off when on work calls. The litter gets caught in the tracks and makes a grinding sound. I have a dust buster that helps but it hasn’t fully solved the issue.

As a pet owner, we all need to accept that there is no way around the issue of littler box scooping: it has to be manually done in order to yield the perfect results some of us expect (I’m some of us). =) I have both: the littler robot and recently acquired this one as an option for my older cat. This litter box does the job: scoops the waste after the cat uses it. I love the openness and large size. It’s perfect for my oldest cat as she struggles in the litter robot. The app options are limited and you do need to do a bit of extra cleaning. I find that dried waste or litter sticks to the bottom, and I have to scrape it off. It is more noticeable because the box is white (I have similar issues with the litter robot). Additionally, in my experience, if I don’t clip my cats’ nails, any litter box usage results in litter being scattered. I have litter tracking even with the litter robot but clipping my cats’ nails helps tremendously. Overall, I think the price is fine because it has made my life easier. I clean the box 1 per week. I have two cats. IfYou can’t afford pricier automatic litter boxes, I recommend this one. Remember: there’s no way around the perfect litter box experience. I still have to scrape off and see tracking with my expensive litter robot, way less than withthis, one of course.
