Not sure where the Stratus line really fits in to a Sabian line-up I bought this having not heard them. The sound is powerful and bright. The cymbal is a bit thin, only time will tell if it holds up to a heavy-handed player. All-in-all the price-point is excellent for an 80/20 cymbal.
