I bought two of these products to replace the old lift supports on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Had them installed and the lift gate stayed open for one day. One looked used and the other one looked new. I was able to compress the newer looking lift support by hand which should not be the case. Perhaps these were defective as other reviews indicated it worked. Unfortunately, I will be returning these.
