Since the large office supply stores had such flimsy plastic or aluminum versions of this, I decided to buy from Amazon instead. This unit is much better than anything in the office supply stores. It's very sturdy and the removable/movable dividers are a big plus. We bought the 5-Section one which fits nicely on my son's desk and organizes his work books neatly. I can be confident that he won't break this by mistake because it's pretty solid steele/metal.

It isn't beautiful, but it isn't ugly. It is unobtrusive and functional. I like that the sections are adjustable. I like the strength of the ends. The only negative is that when it isn't full, the dividers don't stand straight, but lean slightly with the books.

Love these! Purchased two of these to be placed on top of a two shelf bookcase. End to end, they fit on the top of the bookshelf to organize the books that had accumulated there. There are small foam pieces that can be adhered to the bottom of the four corners of the shelves (in case you are wondering if these metal shelves would scratch the surythat they rest upon).

this actually consists of two sides - a left and a right, not five sections.the bottom of pne side sits on top of the other, and you can slide it in or out to widen or narrow the space between ends, It is weighted somewhat so that it does hold the kitchen cookbooks on the passthrough shelf without them falling over, but it definately not worth the price at all and certainly nothing of what is pictured. Perhaps they sent me the wrong item.

Attending a large number of conferences and being involved in numerous projects has resulted in many binders in my office. This product is sturdy and holds a large number of my binders. The adjustability of it is a huge benefit. I'm very pleased with this product.

Tough/durable/heavy metal - will last a long timeWish metal plates that separate books would be more"stable" I took double sided tape to hold sections down - works well
