I bought and older motorhome that had a very weak outdoor light by the door. I wanted something a lot brighter and less power consuming. LED's definitely can do both. It mounted within the same footprint of the old light and actually used the same holes. It was great not have to drill new holes in the side of my motorhome. Install went very quick. I love the fact that this can be a very bright white light or a yellow light that is less harsh on the eyes. I bought it for the incredibly bright light. It is more than twice as bright as my old rv porch light and has a wider pattern. The yellow option is a wonderful bonus.

The ability to change between a bright white light and a softer Amber color without changing lenses!!!! Absolutely brilliant. I installed on the back deck of my boat and will absolutely be buying another to replace the rear door light of my camper.

I like it. Easy to install. Added brightness and 2 color (Amber and bright white).Now I need a motion sensor yard light, that's next. It gets dark on these cold winter night in Alaska.Specs say good to -4F. Will see how it works at -30-40F? No picture added, it is exactly as shown.

The light housing is aluminum and appears to be built to last. Wiring is standard rv two wire 12 volt application. I’m happy with this light, was more than most options here on Amazon but worth it. The switching from amber to bright is not mentioned in the installation instructions. You simply toggle your switch to change functions.
