These work so well for our netherland dwarf rabbits. Easy to install and clean. The size is perfect and I feel like they are safe in their cages. The holes are narrow enough to not worry about feet getting caught but poop could go through too.

If you're like me and you came across this product, you're thinking, there is no way I am paying $35 for some plastic grate. But let me tell you, I have purchased all of the others and they are junk. These grates are smooth and allow for their poop to easily pass through so they are not walking around in it. We've had our rabbit for 7 years and in all of this time these are the smoothest I have found so far. The one caveat is that they do not click or connect together but other than that these are the best!

I’ve got big New Zealand bunnies and these mats provide a way to keep those cute bunny feet off the wire cage bottom. Easy to click into place and easy enough to remove for cleaning. Recommended.

We have 2 indoor polish rabbits who live in their hutch 100% of the time. These have really held up. The rabbits are noticeably comfortable on them. When I took them out to wash recently she hopped back over to the area they were on as soon as I popped it in. In 6 months of owning them only one small corner had been chewed off. The 6 mats it came with did not fit so it was easy to switch them out even though it was still useable.

They were not a 'test' for us to review.DELIVERY: By UPS. I watched the order and for 2 days, nothing happened. It just sat there by the vendor. Then, on the third day, a label was created. And the next day, it was shipped to UPS. UPS has been very good to us for almost all deliveries. This item was packaged with a couple of products. The box arrived in good shape. Thanks UPS.QUALITY: The mats are made with a hard plastic. The do have sharp edges but the rabbits should not get hurt as the sharp edges are on the bottom. The top is very smooth. The slots allow for their waste to go thru should that be an issue.INTENDED PURPOSE: We bought a set of 6 to use in for Midwest 18x37 rabbit cages. They look like they were intended specifically for these cages. HOWEVER, there are 4 tabs that hold the mats to the cage floor and they are not cut to allow for the mats to sit flatly on the floor. I had to bend the tabs by hand a bit to get the mats to lay flat. BE CAREFUL if you do this. You could easily break the tabs off. Use very little pressure at a time if your mats do not lay flat.RECOMMENDATION: The mats have been installed for a couple of days now. The 4 bunnies prefer their baskets to 'rest' in. Sometimes the cage floor itself. We don't see them 'using' them routinely. But, we'll admit that it certainly looks like it would be better than sitting on the cage floor. Time will tell whether they start to use them regularly. Was this a good purchase? For the price and what they are supposed to do, they are very expensive pieces of plastic. They are expensive BECAUSE people must think these are great products for their pets. Knowing what we know after just a couple of days, we can't infrantically say this was a good purchase primarily due to the price and hold down tab issue. You'll just have to decide for yourself if its worth the money. It could save the rabbits feet long term if you purchase enough to cover the entire cage bottom. If the price was closer to $15 and the tabs were right without having to risk breakage, we might be more inclined to rate them higher. They will be very easy to clean but keep the sharp bottom edges in mind as they are about sharp enough to cut you given the right angle when cleaning.

I really like these mats. They’re nice and smooth, and the rabbits like them. They’re easy to install and the rabbits haven’t been able to pull them off. I will definitely be buying more.
