The first flugelhorn I purchased. Came well package and with a solid case. Solid and a little on heavy side but no problem. Sounds bright on upper octaves but warm on lower which I like. The keys and slide will needed some oiling before use and like my other trumpets should get smoother with use. I would probably try using alternative mouthpiece as the one that came with it a little shallow for me. Overall pleased with the quality of instrument besides.a reasonable pricing and shipment cost. Retail in NZ would certainly be much more expensive
