This is an inexpensive item and aside from having to cut an access into our Keystone Cougar wall it's a simple fix. Our original sail switch lasted about 9 months. This sail switch immediately fixed our issue.

Bought one, being cheap off Amazon and it worked for a couple weeks and quit on me. Bought a second one and quit on me after a week. Ended up going to an rv dealer and paid $50 for one and its been great for the past 2 months so far.

Switch worked fine on arrival, had it installed in the furnace for 8 days before it failed. Popped it apart to see why, and they use a cheap spring and contact pad compared to the OEM switch. They also have a heavier arm for the sail, making it more finicky to engage.If you’re in a pinch and need an emergency fix, this might suit your need, but otherwise spend the money on an OEM part.
