Absolutely loved this cargo bag because it gave us much needed room in the car going to Florida. Kept our valuables secure, protected and dry. The only downside of this bag was the zipper became harder to use when it got cold.

I had another hitch bag that came with my cargo rack and, on the first use the handle stitching ripped without me knowing and all the boxes inside got soaked when it rained. I ordered the Sailnovo Hitch Cargo Bag to replace it.The bag came folded down nice and small in a storage bag. The fold lines stayed visible after I had packed it just to see how much it would hold so it was easy to refold. It was still a tight fit getting it back into the bag (but nothing ever folds as flat as when it first arrives!) but it wasn't too difficult. This bag holds a LOT of stuff. THe one thing I found to help is that you should pack it as full as possible. When I didn't fill it completely, the straps pulled down and water pooled. The straps held tightly and were easily adjusted and secured and they stayed in place.The zippers and flaps are well made and thick. What I found worked best is to flip up the zipper cover first while the bag is open. I tried it when it was closed and it was much harder to do. Once closed the zippers are waterproof even without the flap. There is a small combination lock included but it isn't really going to stop anyone determined to get past it. I have a heavier duty lock I use so I won't even be using the one provided.I am happy with this bag. It is sturdy, feels well made and keeps everything dry. It folds down smaller than other bags I have had and the carry bag is a nice touch. At $99, it's a bit pricey (and the reason for my 4 star review) but, at the time of this review, it's on sale for $65 (and there is a $10 coupon available too!) which makes it a great deal.

This thing is huge. I didn't expect it to feel so big. It has a ton of capacity. It was really well made too. It has really thick strong water resistant material. There is a flap that goes over the zipper to keep water out. The straps are strong and have a really strong connection to the bag. There are side handles for easier and secure lifting. The zipper is heavy duty and it comes with a lock to help it stay closed and tramper resistant. The instructions are clear english and thorough. I'm really impressed with this cargo bag.

I knew how dig this bag was, when you open it up, you really do realize just how big it is. You can put an incredible amount of luggage in this bag.Pro tip: flip up the reflective edge when you go to zip it open or shut. The corners are very tricky to zip and unzip unless that flap is up. When flipped down, the velcro will hold that weather seal in place and keep water from getting in through the zipper.The nylon straps are easy to use. They are strong and will hold the bag in place.Make sure you fill up the bag as much as possible to avoid low spots where water could collect, should you be driving through rain or snow.Fold lines show on the bag, which help when folding it to put it away. It fits in the storage bag very tightly, but it does fit.A lock that comes with it is more of a visual deterrent than anything, as one could have the hammer and that thing is gone. Still, any lock is better than no lock and it's nice that it was included with the bag. I was able to follow the instructions to reset the lock to the combo of my choice and it was very easy to do.One of the best things about this bag is that it packs away. You can bring an incredible amount of storage with you on a trip and not have to worry about where you will put a big, solid bin when you get to your destination or when you get home. I really like the convenience of this, which is why I requested it to review.

In reviewing the Sailnovo hitch cargo carrier bag, I found that I like it overall, but there are some significant caveats to that recommendation!This bag is quite a heavy-duty beast! I'm not too sure, but it's likely bombproof! The high-density PVC is heavy and strong. This also means it doesn't have much give, like a hard-sided box rather than a soft-sided bag. This is a good feature, considering any flexible bag is easy to overpack.When purchasing a bag like this, note the size of the cargo rack it fits. This bag is supposed to use a 24" rack. My rack is only 18", and the bag doesn't fit on it quite right as a result. Additionally, be aware that since this is a soft-sided bag, it works best when packed full. If you don't fill it to the top, you'll get low spots that will accumulate water from rain or snow.Overall, I like this bag, but the instructions do not say you need a 24" rack for it to fit properly. It is quite heavy-duty and strong, though. Whether or not this is a good value for the money remains to be seen.

The Sailnovo cargo carrier bag is a very nice product. It's a thick, PVC material as described, which has a rubbery feel to it. Though I haven't taken this on the road just yet, the combination of the material itself, zipper, and protective zipper cover will undoubtedly keep weather elements from permeating into the carrier itself and protecting your contents. Heavy duty integrated straps allow for ease in securing to the hitch carrier, but I'll still use two additional straps just to be safe as I'm not a fan of plastic buckles for long term endurance. The reflective strip along the bag top is a nice touch, allowing it to be more easily visible at night. Includes a zipper lock too, that is a nice addon but doesn't offer significant security whatsoever. Really like this carrier bag very much for all its features except for the unnecessarily logo placed on front which takes away from the professional bag look. It could have been placed on the sides if anything, or simply some script on the bag front would've worked and looked nicer. Overall, bag capacity and expected performance is great.
