SAINT RAPHAEL THE ARCHANGEL - GOD HEALS

The name Raphael means "It is God who heals", "God heals",

Raphael is the archangel of spousal love and health. He is, in the Catholic Church, as in the Orthodox one, the patron saint of young people, engaged couples, spouses, pharmacists, ophthalmologists, educators, travelers and refugees. In Christian iconography the symbols of him are the fish and the jar of medicines. Raphael is the third angel mentioned in the Bible, in the book of Tobias Raffaele is the guide and defender of the young Tobias sent by God to help him in the task entrusted to him by his now blind father to collect a credit that he had left in a city of Media. During the journey, Raffaele procures a happy marriage for Tobias with the young Sara, the recovery of the same from the torments of the devil and Tobias father from his evil.
