Perfect to hold my salt by the stove. It would also work well as a sugar bowl. Opening is wide and there is a gasket around the cover which snugs it closed and keeps moisture out.Update: The pull top snapped off. The seal is so good on the rim that it required a bit of force to remove the cover. Still using, but wanted to give warning.

Top is airtight and container holds enough for us to last almost 2 weeks, just for coffee. It looks nice by the coffee canister. Nice quality.

I’m so disappointed in this little crock. I’ve had it for about two months and the handle just snapped off today. I wasn’t pulling it at an angle or even pulling hard, I just went to lift up the lid and it just snapped right off.I will be reaching out to the company and will update this review if they respond.
