These cellars are easy on the eye, and even easier to use. I used Himalayan salt and organic black pepper. Once milled and placed in the cellars, they keep beautifully. No clumping, no moisture buildup. I think the wooden lids control the moisture. They do not fit tightly, but lay on top of the cellar. I stack them near the stove for convenience.

These bowls are very pretty, but unfortunately, they are not functional for their intended purpose. The lids do not fit securely on the bowls at all, slipping around and sitting unevenly.A gasket or some form of seal on the lid would make a huge difference in keeping them stable. As they are now, they don’t provide the snug fit needed to be practical. With that improvement, they could be a much better product.

I do a bunch of cooking. Fish, beef, poultry; you name it, I have made it. We also have our share of bakers in the family. So much so that our freezer has no less than 25lbs of butter at any given time. Having compact vessels to store our most used spices it not only convenient, its necessary. I have a set for baking and a separate set for cooking. This ceramic set will be kept by the stove. That's where I can add a bit of salt and/or pepper to take my Chicken Piccata up a notch just before I ring the dinner bell. Ceramic is best cause when they get dirty I can toss them in the dishwasher. The wood tops do not seal to the containers but I'd rather they didn't. They have been sanded smooth and free of burs. They have also been coated with a matte finish. I would not run them in the washer opting for a hand wash n towel dry.Cheers

Buy these for the beautiful ceramic dishes, not the lids. I knew they (the lids) were just going to rest on top (what I wanted), but they sit so loosely that they're off-center (mainly the pepper lid, which is actually warped), and stuff can creep in from the top. So, when setting the lids on them, make sure the contents are actually covered. They're a great size and, again, absolutely stunning ceramic, but the if you can't be sure to get flat tops, I can't recommend.Purchased through Vine for a discount (1/22/25); $21.99

These are beautifully glazed and accent my light blue backsplash perfectly. They can hold a lot of salt and stack nicely on each other. The only thing I wish was improved a bit was the lids having a bit too much play (side to side) in them. Other than that, these are excellent and a decent price for the quality received

These bowls have a nice weight to them and the color is gorgeous in person. They were well packaged for shipment. These would make a lovely gift! The engraving is clear and easy to read. The wood is a dark honey color. We hand washed and dried the set. They hold approximately a cup of spices. We have them displayed for use. This is a budget friendly find with a high-end look. We highly recommend this set and would recommend it to others.
