This cocktail tool is a beautifully designed, functional addition to your kitchen. Constructed from Acacia wood, it has a "one of a kind" look to it - a result of the wood's natural grain. The finish is extremely smooth, and the interior sides are all slightly angled - making for an overall smoother look & user experience.The logo in the center is added in a very tasteful manner, and actually adds to the overall look of the item. My only criticism is, I suspect, a bit of a manufacturing defect on the particular one I received. On mine, there's a 2 inch section where the side meets the bottom that's quite rough & not nearly as smooth as the rest of the surface. I suspect it's not common, and probably the result of an underlying issue with the piece of wood mine was made from. I don't think it'll impact the overall functionality, but will be a bit tougher to clean than the rest.Great overall design, very happy with the wood construction, and great appearance combined with functionality.

I like this simple glass rimmer. It's light and compact, so if I don't want it out it easily fits in the bar cabinet. In the photo I had sugar in it to add to the edge of tropical drink (daiquiri with fresh squeezed lime, pineapple simple syrup and anejo rum). That didn't take too wide of glass so I didn't fill all the way to the edge in the photo. I love hearing my guests make comments about the sugar and watching them turn the glass for each sip to get a little of sugar.The space is about a 1/4" deep, which is about right for most glasses.This is a simple solution that can really dress up mixed drinks with sugar or salt, and I'm looking forward to trying it with a number of different drinks.

The wood grain of this glass rimmer is beautiful! It's fits most of my glasses, including my margarita glasses. I've used it to add salt to margaritas, colored sugar to my blackberry bourbon smash (my favorite cocktail!), and plan to use it to put some apple spice sugar (apple pie spice and white sugar) on glasses for hot apple cider this winter. It's much more effective than using a plate and I feel like I waste a lot less. The only drawback is that it does have to be hand washed, whereas a plate I would just toss in the dishwasher.
