INSTALLATION
1. Attach the fire extinguisher mount to the roll bar by adjustable hose clamp;
2. One hand pull the knob out, the other hand take out the other part of the mount;
3. Attach the fire extinguisher to the part of the fire extinguisher mount;
4. Pull the knob out and put the part of the mount back.

I was hoping this could be used to attach a fire extinguisher to my SUV's external spare-tire carrier. But there is too much wobble between the two main components of the assembly for that purpose. While it isn't suited to motorized-vehicle use due to the wobbling, it still is a good, well-made product for static, wall-mounted use.

Really pleased with this product. I bought this to mount to my trucks bed rack. I saw many had this on a roll bar for their jeep and other vehicles, so I was hoping this would attach flush to a flat piece of strut. It mounted great, is sturdy against the strut and was very simple to install. The mounting base has a slight curve to it, so it seems it would mount completely flush to a roll bar. The fire extinguisher feels snug and doesn't move or rattle as I'm driving. The pin is easy to pull to quickly get the fire extinguisher off the mount, and is just as easy to remount. I definitely recommend it.

I've now bought and installed 4 of these. All on boats, including 1 each on our pleasure and fishing boats. Hard to complain, they are easy to install, work great and are perfect to mount an extinguisher in an easily accessible manner. I would definitely recommend and purchase again if needed.

What I like about this mount is the ease of mounting it, the shrink tubing that covers the clamps, the fact that they give you 2 sizes of clamps. The small ones fit my 5 BC extinguisher and it doesn't rattle like I have read in some reviews.It's sturdy and the red pull nob is easy to operate.Beats the heck out of those worthless Nylon strap-on's.I highly recommend you get one of these, don't waist your cash on the cheap alternative.

Mounted to the roll cage on my truck. Release mechanism is a touch loose, but it seems to hold well. Looks nice and makes accessing the fire extinguisher easier. Included hose clamps could be a little better quality

Hose clamps are very weak and snapped one right away but other than that works great bought two of them
