Wowww, im impressed, i always have cold feet n finding good socks is tough, BUT THESE ROCK.!!I ordered the ski socks lil high fir my liking but they are warm, even at 15 degrees out, stays in place, moisture wicking, n i even wore them 2 days in a row for 16 hrs a day and am really impressed.. i def will b buying more soon.. great cushioning, nice soft compression, n material percentages are perfect..UPDATE:So after 3-4 washings one pair is starting to frey n come apart, not real happy with that for what i paid for them i was expecting at least 6 months to a yr.Maybe the company will see this n offer me another pair or style.

Fit was right, stayed up, warm, plenty of cushion. No need to add anything else other than I hope they last.

Pretty darn comfy for me. I ski pretty aggressively and my shins tend to ache by the end of the day. Didn’t feel that ache with these socks on. I did also layer another sock at one point since it was really cold. Alone these socks aren’t that warm

Update: Customer service is great. The company reached out to me and sent me a pair of the khaki socks that don’t pile as much. Really like supporting companies that care about their customers and products. Will definitely buy again in the future.First, I have to say these are great for skiing. I like how they fit, feel and keep my feet warm. I can also appreciate the thicker areas for additional padding.My only concern is the overall durability of the socks. I went skiing once and then watched the socks. I always use gentle cycle on wool and then air dry. When I pulled the socks out and let them air dry, I noticed heavy piling of the socks, I took a photo of it, don’t know if it does it justice. I haven’t seen this before with my other wool ski socks. Only time will tell if they will hold up, but happy with their ski performance!

I bought a ladies medium because I am a size 9. Not wide feet. just average. But I'm feeling like I won't be able to make it hours in these socks. They are just too tight, I don't have big calves. I know we want them to stay up so they have to be a bit tight but these feel kind of restrictive. I think I will have to buy something else for my ski trip.

I purchased these for a ski trip, and liked them so much after a week of skiing I bought more for hiking and just day to day wear any time I'm going to be outside in cold weather. The socks are long enough to come up above the calf, just below the knee, and the elastic band at the top is wide enough that it is comfortable, doesn't cut into my leg, and stays in place. The extra padding along the shin is great for skiing, the extra padding around is great for skiing and hiking. Very warm, very comfortable socks.

These have a very high wool content and are purportedly made in the USA, two major pluses. I hesitated to purchase based on several reviews that indicated they couldn't get these socks on and that they were too tight, but I have very large calves and they fit me fine. I did size up based on the reviews, but I think they would have fit with my regular size too.I do wish the socks went just a little higher - but due to the beefy nature of my calves I understand they'll fit a bit lower than most, so for me they stop juuuust at the cusp of the top of the calves vs sitting above the calf. That said, I would love it if this company would make a similar true knee sock.I've worn through several comparable socks during exercise; I will update my review if these do not withstand the exertion of leg day.
