It is pretty thin flexible plastic, yet when assembled it works exactly as needed and designed. In spite of one star reviews stating there is no mounting hardware, it does not come with any and that is stated in the listing for those who actually read specifics. I personally used five (5) toggle bolts to install mine, it is going nowhere.Unfortunately although the "like new" returned dispenser I purchased with parts still in individual bags never having been assembled was missing the lock keys. The keys are molded into the back plate and you can see where they were removed from the plastic backing leaving two (2) plastic tabs each.They were taken by whomever returned this item, perhaps wrongly returning because it had no hardware so they felt obligated, I can not relate to low life's. Contacted Amazon and was compensated for the price of new key replacement purchase. Shame on the buyer who certainly is identifiable by returning this exact item.

I bought this as our 3rd towel holder in the past 2 months for bathrooms throughout our facility. This is by far the best one of them all and was the least expensive. They all ranged from $20 to $34. The stainless one that cost $34 was horrible and frustrated me to the point that I threw it away. This one here is excellent quality and very well designed. I highly recommend it!

Bought 2 of these San Jamar paper towel dispensers, they were easy to assemble and hangup. The dispenser holds up nice and sturdy. It is also very easy to open with the key when its time to refill. I used one for my kitchen and the other one for my bathroom and I just love them. Since switching to C- fold paper towels (I buy the box of 16 packs for $22) I am now saving so much in comparison to what I used to spend monthly buying regular paper towel rolls. If you have kids in the house its a must have to minimize the spreading of germs and bacteria. I would highly recommend this dispenser.

We purchased a new office building that was not a new building. Out of the 12 bathrooms, 11 had the old style c-fold dispensers that were not in great shape. One bathroom did not have one so I found this online for a great price. It is in our second building so I personally didn't use it but our maintenance staff loved it so much I was ordered to purchase one for each of our other 11 bathrooms. Our cleaning staff loves them and loves having one key to open and replace the towels.
