I got this product and within a week of using it the leather started ripping off. Now it’s just cloth no leather and I’m about to toss them out.

My kids are in Karate and these paddles are easy to grab on the fly!Very firmExcellent sizeFair PriceWe use these almost daily and due to the high density foam being quiet firm they wear their padded gloves. These are a bit softer than the mitts by this brand - but my kids still prefer to wear their padded gloves as they are children.

Some background: I had practiced martial arts for many years and mainly used Adidas double paddles for punching and kicking practice.This Sanabul brand paddle is a single paddle with a bit shorter length than the Adidas paddles. There is a bit of rigidity where the paddle meets the handle and then much less support towards the end of the handle. I like this feature as it allows the paddle to flex at the right place when the paddle is struck (which means less fatigue for the paddle holder during training sessions). The foam material used is rigid enough to bounce back for quick strike training but padded enough to not hurt my bare knuckles or feet (top and insteps).I recommend getting this type of paddle in addition to a double paddle to vary up your training.

I like that this item is very light and portable. The stitching pattern in the materials itself feels like its quality made. You can’t go wrong with Sanabul. I feel like this was a good investment for boxing and striking. I love the grip and overall quality and design. Perfect for taking a beating. I would recommend this if you are a striker.

Material is durable. Excellent for training someone to fight. Soft padding so it doesn’t hurt if being hit back for training. Worth its value.
